The HDMI Switch 5x1 has IR remote mechanical function, but also has the intelligent function. It can be used by controlling the IR remote or by hands. Fortunately, it also has been upgraded to be intelligent. This kind of HDMI Amplifier Switcher routes high definition video (in multiple resolutions up to 1080p) and digital audio from any one of the several sources to display units. All inputs accommodate the connections of the high definition video sources simultaneously, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display. It has one input port on the front panel, which reduced the switcher to an ideal small size and provides convenience for users to connect portable devices.
